Typhur Dome Troubleshooting questions

Why is the coating on the bottom and sides of my air fryer basket wearing off?

This is a normal occurrence, as the coating may wear down due to occasional contact with metal parts inside the basket during use. However, if the coating inside the basket (where you place food) peels off extensively, please contact our customer service team for assistance.

Why is there a lot of smoke during cooking?

When cooking high-fat meats, we recommend using the Steak mode to help reduce smoke. Additionally, before cooking, make sure to clean any grease from the heating element to prevent smoke from forming due to high-temperature grease buildup.

Why does the bottom heating element turn red during cooking?

To ensure optimal cooking results, the bottom heating element may stay on for a longer period in certain modes to provide sufficient heat to the cooking surface. It’s normal to see the heating element turn red for a short time. Typhur has conducted rigorous aging tests on the entire unit to ensure the reliability of the heating components.

Why doesn’t the product have a preheat function?

The Dome2 includes a preheat function integrated into the Pizza and Steak cooking modes. For other modes, if preheating is required, you can manually set the temperature and time based on the food you're cooking. Typically, we recommend a preheating time of about 5 minutes.
